SUPERELASTIC STAPLE
The EasyClip™ staple is designed to facilitate easy and fast implantation in a variety of applications. The SuperElastic™ property of the EasyClip™ has all the advantages of memory staples (sustained compression) without relying on an activator (no heating or cooling). The SuperElastic property allows a constant, active compressive state.
Indications:
The EasyClip™ SuperElastic staple is very versatile for osteotomies of the foot and hand. It is particularly useful
for the following:
- Lisfranc Arthrodesis
- Talonavicular fusions
- Arthrodesis of the mid-foot
- Mid-foot osteotomies
- Osteotomies of the forefoot
- MP Arthrodesis
- Fusions of the hand and wrist
Advantages:
- Compression due to elastic memory (Nitinol)
- No heat activation required
- Very low profile
- Constant compression
- Typical compressive force: 5-6kg (EZ 10 and 12); 7-9 kg (EZ 18)
- Store at room temperature
