SHAPE MEMORY - HEAT ACTIVATED STAPLE
The MemoClip™ Heat Activated Compression Staple is specifically designed to cause compression for osteotomies and arthrodesis of the foot and ankle. It is particularly useful in calcaneal / joint fusions, talonavicular fusions, calcaneal osteotomies, fore and midfoot arthrodesis, and fore and midfoot osteotomies. The MemoClip™ staple can also be used in areas of the upper extremity.
- Offered in either a bicortical or monocortical design
- Manufactured from heat activated MEMOMETAL® Nitinol
- Uses electrical cautery for activation
- Compression Force of the activated staple is about 3 Kg
- Controlled and lasting compression
